COURSE DESCRIPTION

Occupational Health and Safety Act, Act 85 of 1993.

Section 8, 13,14 & 25 – Duty to Inform.

Introduction to Ergonomics.

Common Work-Related MSDs.

MODULE 2: ERGONOMIC REGULATIONS

Definitions, Scope of application.

Information, instruction and training.

Duties of persons, designers, manufacturers, importers and suppliers.

Ergonomic risk assessment & Risk control.

Medical surveillance.

Maintenance of controls.

COURSE OUTCOMES
